Diana Wint received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fairleigh Dickinson University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Pace University, with a specialization as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Diana went on to receive her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Pace University in May 2015.
 
Why a Nurse Practitioner as your Health Provider?
The AANP (American Academy of Nurse Practitioners), which is Diana's certifying board, identifies nurse practitioners (NP's) as licensed independent practitioners who practice in ambulatory, acute and long-term care as primary and/or specialty care providers and who provide nursing and medical services to individuals, families, and groups according to their practice specialty. In addition to diagnosing and managing acute, episodic and chronic illnesses, NP's emphasize health promotion and disease prevention. Our services includes, but not limited to, ordering, conducting, supervising, and non-pharmacologic therapies. Teaching and counseling individuals, families and groups are also a major part of practice (AANP 2011)
